We are seeking to appoint an outstanding person to this very important position in our Buildings and Services Team, where there is plenty of opportunity to apply your practical skills and experience in working with a team to a wide variety of work.
The Maintenance Officer works with our Buildings and Services Team to ensure excellent presentation and continuing maintenance of the School buildings.
In particular, the successful applicant will be required to perform tasks in the following areas
- Assisting in scheduling and undertaking maintenance of the School buildings
- Using relevant equipment to repair and service School buildings
- Assisting with project work related to new buildings, if required
- Assisting in the maintenance of specific School facilities
- Ensuring regulatory compliance of all School buildings
Previous experience within an independent school setting is preferred and preference will be given to a qualified trades person. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required along with the ability to demonstrate initiative and to prioritise tasks.
A salary commensurate with experience will be offered. The successful applicant must have a current Working with Children Check.
